City Treasurer/Comptroller

Located on the 3rd floor of City Hall, the Treasurer's Office accepts real estate property tax payments through the end of January annually. Any remaining Real Estate taxes owed are turned over to the County for collection.

Personal Property taxes (paid by businesses on the value of equipment owned) are retained by the City.

The position of the Treasurer is responsible for creating a monthly report for City Council showing the month's revenues for all departments of the City of Ashland. 

The position of the Comptroller reports to the City Council each month's expenses across all City departments.
