Mission

The mission of Ashland Parks and Recreation is to enhance the quality of life for residents of the community, through a variety of special events, athletic and social programs. By providing a variety of activities, we hope to encourage lifelong learning, fitness and fun.

Bretting Community Center (BCC)

The Bretting Community Center is currently closed to the public for drop in use. We are hoping to offer some limited public use by appointment very soon. Check back for more details.


APR PRograming

The Parks and Recreation Department has been offering programing using smaller class sizes for better social distancing, and also adding PPE. We have a great line up of classes for your child. 

Ashland County 4H/APR SPRING ARCHERY

The series will focus on safety, equipment and maintenance, technique, individualized coaching for each youth to improve accuracy and proficiency, and archery games for fun and practice. 

Location: Chequamegon Archery Club 3501 McDonald Rd 

Dates: Mondays May 17th - June 21st (no class Memorial Day)

GYMNASTICS

Our next session of gymnastics started on May 12th. There may be a few spots open in a couple classes. Please call our office to find out about availability We are offering classes for children 3yrs and up. Class sizes are limited and fill quickly. Follow the link to our registration page below. Ninja classes

Our ninja classes Start May 14th and run through June 4th. There may be a few spots open in a couple classes. Please call our office to find out about availability.
