Changes in Absentee Ballot Return Procedure

dropbox changes pt 2

The following information is prompted by the recent WI Supreme Court ruling.

If you intend on handing in your absentee ballot to the Clerk’s Office, you must return your OWN absentee ballot. Spouses, children, family,  assistants, friends, etc., CANNOT hand in your absentee ballot to the Clerk’s Office. If you are unable to return your absentee ballot  in person, you may return it via USPS mail.

As a reminder, the dropbox outside of City Hall CANNOT be used for absentee ballots. Any absentee ballots found in the City Hall dropbox will not be counted.

Please contact the Clerk’s Office at 715-682-7071 with questions or concerns.
