Can’t make the Ashland County event? No problem—See if one of these dates and locations works for you.
In 2022, participants brought in 7,960 pounds of hazardous materials, safely keeping them out of waterways and landfills. This included pesticides, herbicides, PCBs, oil paint, solvents and thinners, caustics/corrosives, and other chemicals. In addition, 1,246 fluorescent and other bulbs were turned in, as well as 70 pounds of NiCad batteries.
They gave a free recycled plastic pen to all participants to thank them for safely disposing of their toxic materials and protecting the community.
