Mayor Debra Lewis has announced that the winter parking provisions will be delayed. The City will monitor weather conditions and will attempt to provide 48 hours notice to residents through the Daily Press and local radio announcements before instituting winter parking provisions. If the City receives 4 or more inches of snow, the winter parking provisions will automatically go into effect. Residents are urged to monitor weather forecasts and must return to odd-even parking during the day and off-street parking from midnight to 6:00 a.m. when the winter parking provisions are put in effect.

Winter parking provisions in the City of Ashland prohibit parking vehicles on City streets between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m. Between 6:00 a.m. and midnight, odd/even parking provisions are in effect. Vehicles must be parked on the even side of the street on even-numbered calendar days and on the odd side on the street on odd-number days.
