Streets Department

Responsibilities

The Streets Department is responsible for maintaining 66 miles of streets, 15 miles of alley, 41 miles of sidewalks, and 25 miles of storm water mains.

Duties

Depending on the time of the season the Streets Division duties include: 

• Alley Maintenance
• Pavement Marking
• Pot Hole Patching
• Roadway Ditching and Maintenance
• Snow Removal
• Street Sweeping
• Vehicle Fleet Maintenance
