After tax collections are halted, the tallying and reconciliation of the City's collections (called a "settlement") must occur before the County may begin receipting tax payments for the remainder of the year.
Payments for real estate taxes dropped off during the settlement calculation period will not be processed (by either the City OR the County) until the settlement is complete.
