Attend Northwood Technical College and live within the City of Ashland?
So long as you meet the regular voting requirements, you can vote!
What do I need?
Acceptable Photo ID - If you're already a Wisconsin Resident, you can use your Wisconsin Driver's License or Wisconsin State Issued ID. If you are from another state, you are able to use your College ID, even if you live off-campus. When using your College ID, we will need to confirm your enrollment at your institution if your College ID is expired.
Proof of Residence (POR) - If you live off campus, you will need to provide one of the items deemed acceptable by the Wisconsin Elections Commission on their website for your off-campus address.
What if I want to vote at home as an absentee voter?
Wisconsin Residents attending college away from home are permitted to vote absentee in their home district if they haven't yet registered to vote at their college address. Out of State students will want to contact their hometown City or County Clerk for assistance and information for voting absentee as college students outside their home district.
