Want to camp while smelting? Ashland Parks & Recreation has you covered! The City of Ashland has two parks that allow off-season smelt camping, Bayview Park (known to locals as Pamida Beach) and the Hot Pond parking area. Camping during smelting season is $25 per night or $150 for a week (6 days + 1 night).
