The City of Ashland Parks & Recreation Department is partnering with Piece of Mind Mosaics to create a mosaic mural on the Vaughn Avenue Bridge! This project's goal is to create a piece of public art that reflects the historic and present uses of the bridge, nodding to it's prior railroad roots to its current function as a bike path!
The community is invited to participate in the creation of the mural! Starting February 2nd there will be mosaic workshops for the public to attend. These workshops will allow participants to learn about the mosaic making process, make a piece of the mural themselves, and spread a lot of cheer!
This project is possible through generous donations and grants!
